Willa owns a catering business called The Soul Food Kitchen, which funds her work to feed hungry children during holiday breaks (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Spring Break, etc) and the summer months. Ms. Willa feeds hundreds of children every day, and over Thanksgiving break she fed over 450 children a day, and she expects the same numbers or more during the upcoming Spring Break.
6-year-old Lily Hake, founder of The Lilypad Project and the little queen from Michigan doing so many incredible things to help others, joins the podcast to talk about The Lilypad Project – which creates and distributes coloring books to children in hospitals, all of the acts of kindness she does including giving out hugs, paying compliments to strangers, helping people in need, cheering up the elderly, raising money to make sure that other kids are able to afford to eat lunch at school, and so much more.
