Episode 211: Host of “Betrayal” and Award-Winning Producer – Jenifer Faison

Jenifer is an award-winning producer who is well-known for her work on “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition”, Judge Judy, VanderPump Villa, and more. After 20 years apart, Jenifer reconnected with her college sweetheart, Spencer, and at the age of 42 – they got married. To everyone, including Jenifer, Spencer was the “perfect husband”, but what she didn’t know is that he was hiding shocking secrets and covering it up by love-bombing and his seeming “perfection.” 

Spencer was a two-time Teacher of the Year and Jenifer was convinced she married the perfect husband. But on June 1, 2018, that all changed. Jenifer came home to find Spencer holding a search warrant. He had sexually assaulted one of his students. In the days that followed Spencer’s arrest, Jenifer uncovered a dark, secret life her husband had been living during their entire marriage. His actions shook a community, devastated his wife, and sent Spencer to prison. 

Jenifer’s journey, as she climbed out of the devastation, led her on a mission to shed light on some of society’s darkest secrets, delving into the complexities of betrayal, deception, and the human psyche – and shedding light on and bringing to light so many stories like her own.
