Episode 45: Sherry’s Story: Growing and Harvesting a Garden for Those in Need

Sherry McWilliam, Eden Ridge Farm

Sherry McWilliam dreamed of being a pilot, went to flight school and became one, and then was a flight instructor. But a few years ago, Sherry and her husband (who is also a pilot), decided to start Eden Ridge Farm.

Eden Ridge Farm is the McWilliam’s home property, that is also home to a large garden that they grow and harvest fresh fruits and vegetables from. And Eden Ridge Farm donates the majority of what they grow to local food banks and to those in need. When Sherry and her family started this project, neither she nor her husband had any farming experience. But they learned and continue to learn more every single day.

After only a few years of growing and harvesting, Eden Ridge Farm has produced and donated over 10,000 pounds of fresh, organic produce to those in need.

Sherry also talks about Holy Yoga in this episode and if you’re interested in learning more about that, you can check out her Holy Yoga website.
