Gretchen Smith is a daughter, a mother, a wife, a veteran, and she is the founder of Code of Vets, an organization that helps veterans around the country get the help and support that they need. Gretchen joins the 1 Girl Revolution podcast to share her inspiring story and talk about the great work she does supporting our veterans.
Candice Payne made headlines when she booked hotel rooms for over 100 homeless people in the city of Chicago during the historic polar vortex, with temperatures as low as -20 degrees below zero. Candice is now using her organization Action for a Cause to bring awareness and to help the homeless find housing.
Nancy co-founded Los Angeles Habilitation House (LAHH) in 2008 to help people with disabilities find happiness and purpose through work and in their communities. LAHH creates and maintains job opportunities for people with disabilities and helps them to develop, express, and apply their talents and maximize their contribution to the community.
